Privacy policy
Your mail stays between you and your provider
Mxly Mail connects to your configured mail servers. There is no Mxly account, advertising, analytics service or Mxly mail relay. Your provider processes messages and connection information under its own privacy policy.
Stored on your device
Account settings, cached mail, queued sends, recipient history and privacy diagnostics are stored locally. Passwords and sign-in tokens use iOS Keychain. Widgets and the share extension use a shared app container. Device backups may include local app data according to your iOS settings.
Server discovery
Automatic setup may send your email domain to Mozilla's public server-configuration directory. Your full email address and password are not sent to that directory. Signing in sends credentials to the server being tested.
Images and links
Remote images are blocked by default. Loading them can reveal your IP address and that you opened a message to the image host. Opening a link connects to its destination. You can change remote-image loading in Settings.
Optional permissions
Contacts are used for recipient suggestions and photos only when enabled. CardDAV connects to the server you configure. Camera, photos, calendar and notifications are used for the actions you choose. You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
On-device Intelligence
Optional summaries and reply drafts run on your device using Apple Intelligence. Message content is not sent to a Mxly AI service. Intelligence is off by default.
Your controls
You can remove configured accounts, clear cached bodies and turn off optional features in Settings. Removing an account does not delete the mailbox at your provider. Some local history and recovery records can remain; deleting the app removes its local container, while backups and Keychain items follow iOS retention rules.
Support
If you email support, the address, message and any files you choose to include are used to respond. Please avoid sending passwords or private message contents.
